early childhood education in Singapore

I find early childhood education very lacking in Singapore. It is due to the lack of support to teachers at the childcare centres as well as kindergartens. It is seen as a profitable business as the centres run a variety of programs which enrich the child’s brain. Despite the profit turnover, the childcare centres are run well by operators which are not well-known. One of them is Seed Institute which is run by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, a local polytechnic which is located at 535 Clementi Road. It is pretty convenient to take the bus, MRT and public transport such as the London cab. The institute uses mainly worksheets to engage the students so that they can help the children. St James’ Kindergarten is one of the kindergartens which benefits from Seed Institute.
